Kayla
Kayla, my oldest. She is 4 1/2 and is a sweet, loving and silly little girl. She took us 2 ½ years and 3 IVF’s to conceive. Kayla is allergic to dairy. We manage her allergy and work to balance her safety with giving her a normal childhood. Kayla loves to read books and play games - she amazes me every day.

Alysa
Alysa, my youngest. She is 3 years old and is a silly little spitfire. She’s our monkey and loves to climb on everything. She was a “natural” baby, but it was only b/c of my wonderful doctors that we were able to stop an impending miscarriage. Alysa suffers from Acid Reflux Disease and sleep apnea. She may be little, but she has a big personality. She adores her big sister and is so much fun to be around. She keeps me laughing every day.

Saturday Photo Hunt
Ok - so I don't have a photo of anything really gross. Well, I guess I do - I have a pic of my ovaries from when I had laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis - but I'm not sure that would be considered "family friendly". :) So, I'm posting this one of Kayla when she had her PH probe. It was supposed to test for reflux and it was a tube that went down into her esophagus through her nose. It ended up a failed test and tortured us all for 24 hours for nothing - looooong story and no, we don't see that doctor anymore. And did I mention she was "plugged" into a computer for that 24 hours? Like a said, a nightmare for all...

Oh no! Not as much gross as sad. Breaks my heart to see a baby hooked up to stuff like that. Mine was really only gross if you were there:)

What a brave little girl you have.

On another note, your web design is too cute! I recognized a blue bird blog but had to scroll to the bottom to be sure. :)

My photo's up too.

That's so sad but she looks like she's taking it well all things considered. I can't think of anything much grosser than having a tube stuck down my nose for 24 hours!

Brave little princess! All this for nothing?! The so called "doctor" is GROSS! Good you don´t have to see him anymore.

A gross experience for all. She is too cute and it's horrible to see any child go through things like this, particularly if nothing comes of it. Happy weekend.

Wow, sorry to hear she had to go thru that. What a cute pic of her and that was a grossly horrible doctor. She was so brave putting up with all that and being hooked up to a computer.
